The Blind Pig is a three-person backdoor action in which the ballhandler passes to a teammate in space, and this triggers a teammate above them to cut backdoor or to space. It can be used to relieve defensive pressure because it often surprises the defense with its suddenness and precision. And it can be used to get an offensive player into space with an advantage. Thanks for having my daughter at your Camp she got better.
Appreciate that! Great experience sharing with her and all the others. Plus to coaches like yourself about better ways to develop players.
This coach knows how humans learn. There are Ed schools that don't teach this.
Thank you for watching and sharing this amazing comment!
So much good stuff packed into one episode, love it!
Thank you for watching and commenting.
She needs to fire Christie Sides because she is doing a terrible job with the Fever and Caitlin Clark, she doesn't have a clue how to coach Caitlin and anyone else. You are ruining an important opportunity to lift up the WNBA and if she is left to coach it will not be pretty.
thx Chris 💯
Where's the drill?
Here it is ua-cam.com/video/End5WbChsDY/v-deo.html&ab_channel=BasketballImmersion and the update is in the community
eye test >>> analytics however analytics is useful however there is so many things you have to do win that do not show up the stat sheet. however points were made.

A question I would have is whats needed for g leagers to make it to the league. I understand listening and following the coaches .What Im wondering is what exactly is necassary for the transition.? Is it maturity level ? If so would that be the turning point for being a role player so thet can motivate their teamates by setting the example and getting other teammates to develope more of a marathon attitude over sprinter mentality because I know coaches have their handsful with coming up with plays and trying to comeup with ways to balance a team offense and defensive wise. One thing I knoticed with NbA stars is doing alot of little things great over and and over again until it becomes overall greatness in itself. Would that be the main ingredients of what i mentioned? Because I believe thats what I believe cteates winning franchises over and over again. And what would be the thing to do when dealing with grown men or the attitude to have? And what are the advantages of coming in to the NBA as a G Leager or playing over seas as opposed to coming in drafted or undrafted
Thanks for your comments and insights. The factors are clearly incredibly variable from team to team and situation to situation. Development potential which is influenced by psycho social factors as much as basketball talent would be big.
The advantage.....supersedes the play!!!🏀
100% thanks for watching and commenting.
Cleaveland cavaliers get this guy🎉
Yes! He is a very good coach. Someone should.
Well.. he’s going to be a piston now
The only way to stop this is to play sink coverage off ball. This offense looks like it destroys deny defense
Simple and effective! Thanks for watching and commenting.
Isn't 3:46 a travel by Klay? I am getting called for that.
Glad to see Delisha Milton Jones still the biggest ball of sunshine 💛
Yes! She was amazing on the podcast and a really good coach. Excited for her present and future in coaching.
Awesome BLoBs
Thanks for watching and commenting. Simple and effective!
1:06 I think you got the basis of the drill backwards. “One less player than balls”?
Great video! I'd love a copy of this spreadsheet if possible!
I don't get why Portland refuses to give out this guy on Dallas. His talent is wasted on a rebuilding team. Acquiring Grant and matisse would've been great for dallas
Give and go
Awesome❤
Interesting
The music is so annoying
Love @BBall Immersion and Joe Crispin- (Joe wrote a great book if you haven't read it yet- "Offense Wins"
Thanks for watching. Yes, his book and All Access Video Series are amazing.
Love it!
So glad! Thanks for watching and commenting.
I like to do a similar game/drill with two teams on opposing baskets and players have to try to get a ball from the opposing team/basket
Awesome! Thanks for watching and adding value with your comments.
Love coaching drills
More to come! Thanks for watching and supporting.
😸
Thanks for watching and supporting.
Excellent now nobody defend
Thanks for watching and supporting.
Thanks for this Chris...I am a very different, and I think, more effective coach than 5, 10, 25 years ago thanks to your willingness to share. This is another example of something I can grow from. Appreciate you!
Fantastic! Congrats to you as well for all your efforts in furthering your learning. Happy I have been able to add value but mostly grateful there are coaches like yourself who want to continue to work on their craft.
Wildly helpful, Truly thank you guys.
Glad it was helpful!
This doesn’t have nearly enough views
We agree! Thanks for commenting. And for the support.
Thanks Chris! Your podcast has been the biggest influence on how I've reshaped my coaching philosophy and practise. As well as helping my players think the game, it's made my training sessions more engaging and fun. After all, enjoyment is reason for the game.
Fantastic! Happy it added value, and we will continue to share ideas to stimulate your thinking. Appreciate your message!
Chris Oliver might be one of my favorite guests Chris Oliver has brought on!
Love it! Happy you enjoyed.
I can’t agree more with all the points you made in this video. I love this philosophy. I think you’ll work for any era of athletes. it’s got my mind pumping a lot of ideas!
Happy it added value and has your mind pumping. Check out this if want to dive even deeper with a Free Masterclass on this topic and more basketballimmersion.pages.ontraport.net/5on5
How and when are you matching up into man to man? Or do you stay in the 1-3-1 zone alignment?
Thanks for watching. A little bit of preference here. Most teams go into man-to-man. Some trap and rotate to create chaos. Certainly zone as well. Generally the trigger would be the first pass after entry. Check out more info here basketballimmersion.com/deep-inbound-defense/
Great philosophy on teaching the game. Highly recommend the all access practices from Coach Crispin. Love the podcast, always makes me think and learn each time.
Much appreciated! We agree! www.joecrispinbasketball.com for more info.

Awesome 👍
Thank you! Cheers!
I love 1v1 1-3 dribbles
Us too! Thanks for commenting.
Like the 3 man weave
LOL yes indeed.
Amen
I know it probably feels awkward but you've gotta talk on these, it's far easier to absorb the points you're trying to make if you're explaining them as they happen, rather than having to shift focus to read and then shift back over and over. With that said, great content I like your points but just consider verbally coaching the viewer!
Thanks for your feedback. Really appreciate your interest.

Tell coach Jim Crutchfield to come coach at the university of Kentucky!!
He would have taken it. Sadly I am sure many D1's didn't offer him.
Awesome thank you
Our pleasure!
❤🏀🥂
Two great coaches... brainstorming nice ideas 😊
Thank you for supporting! Pascal is awesome.
❤🏀
Love this. We run a dribble drive offense so emphasize the catch and go vs triple threat…but the problem is how it’s reffed…especially as I’m on the girls side and the refs are already whistle crazy calling every Euro step a travel for example.
Awesome! Yes officials could do a better job officiating it but for young players we emphasize throwing it down to the ground like a stab dribble rather than a push out to avoid this call as much as can.
Chris, how do you teach this action at the HS and Youth levels without the gather-step rule so refs will not call it a travel?
Emphasize the throw down/stab dribble - get the ball to the floor as running and alternate hands on the first two dribbles - will create a video to demonstrate - great question! basketballimmersion.com/the-stab-dribble-basketball-first-step/
